As the Lifeboat Press Officer at RNLI, my mission is to amplify the lifesaving efforts of our team through strategic media engagement. However, our aimin not just to save lives; but build a culture of safety on the Thames.The role of the Lifeboat Press Officer to the Tower Lifeboat Station is to help the RNLI save lives by raising awareness of the RNLI in London, through promoting the activity of Tower, highlighting the lifesaving work of our dedicated team of Lifesavers (full time and volunteer) and sharing key messages via local, traditional, digital and social media.Tower Lifeboat Station is RNLI\'s busiest station. Based just under Waterloo Bridge on the north side of the Thames, Tower is the dedicated search and rescue resource for central London, covering a densely packed 16 miles of the River Thames between Barking Creek and Battersea. As one crew, we strive for excellence and are trustworthy, courageous, selfless and dependable.
