Chemistry Lead at StorTera, accountable for the research and development of next-generation single-liquid lithium-sulphur (Li-S) flow battery cells. Responsible for shaping and executing the Chemistry Department\'s technology roadmap, focusing on anode, catholyte (electrolyte), cathode, and longevity development and optimisation. Build and manage external academic collaborations to accelerate research efforts and drive innovation. Lead Development Scientist - Energy Storage at iGii (formerly Integrated Graphene). Manage projects and a team of scientists and engineers responsible for the development of graphene-based supercapacitors and pseudocapacitors. Previously, Testing & Diagnostics Lead with chief responsibility for the electrochemical testing of AFC Energy\'s alkaline fuel cell (AFC) and anion exchange membrane fuel cell (AEMFC) technologies. Manage a team of engineers and scientists undertaking the electrochemical testing of and developing electrochemical diagnostic techniques for fuel cells across the breath of the small-scale half-cell to the full-scale full-stack system levels. Prior promotion to Lead position, Research Scientist responsible for fundamental and applied R&D, and electrochemical engineering of our HydroX-Cell (L) alkaline fuel cells (AFCs), with principal responsibility for electrode development. PhD on the design, development, and physiochemical & electrochemical characterisation of advanced electrospun carbon nanofibre electrodes for vanadium redox flow batteries.Academic Qualifications: PhD in Applied Physics & Electrochemistry (2020), and BSc in Energy (2014).
