About Nitin Sharma
As the Group Head at TATA Power, I oversee the growth of Tata Power’s Captive Portfolio, select IPP opportunities and Services Business, aligned to Company’s strategy. In this capacity, I have successfully negotiated and acquired Captive assets, and executed Long Term Power Purchase Agreements. Additionally, I am also developing the Overseas and Domestic Services business in niche offerings. I have 18 years of experience in the Energy and Power sector, having worked in the Operations, Projects, Consultancy and CEO Office over my tenure at Tata Power. I have a dual Executive MBA from IIT Bombay and Washington University in St. Louis, where I am gained valuable insights and skills in Business Administration and Management. I have a strong background in Engineering, having graduated with a B. Tech in Power Engineering (Mechanical Specialisation) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2005. Some of my core competencies include Operations Management, Project Management, Energy Management, Energy Transition, Strategy, Communication and Leadership.
