I help companies navigate the difficult and sometimes unpredictable transition that is occurring in today’s energy markets. With over twelve years’ experience in the industry, I leverage my deep technical market expertise to help companies develop and execute strategies to manage costs and mitigate risks of buying in volatile and transforming energy sectors. I am versed in deregulated energy markets for electricity and natural gas as well as the burgeoning renewable energy markets stemming from the accelerated growth in solar and wind asset development. This includes evaluating and negotiating virtual or utility power purchase agreements (PPAs and VPPAs). I advise companies and help them manage all aspects of their energy programs from strategy development to tactical execution. I help companies implement energy resiliency infrastructure including micro-grids, develop revenue streams from demand response programs either through energy curtailment or onsite generation. I keep clients informed of the latest fundamentals influencing the energy markets to effectively manage ongoing power hedges, plan future purchases, and keep costs steady as well as predictable. Along with energy procurement, I also assist clients with utility data management, budget analysis, forecasting, and studies for the feasibility of renewable energy purchases, infrastructure improvements, and backup generation.
