ABOUT NINA NGUYEN

I am a seasoned nonprofit leader with over 15 years of experience in the sector, having held a variety of roles—from program staff to executive director—since 2009. My unwavering commitment to advancing the missions of nonprofit organizations and driving social change has shaped my career, and I am especially passionate about uplifting the voices of members within historically marginalized communities. Through my work, I strive to advocate for equity, access, and empowerment.Currently, I serve as the Search Director and Recruiter for Nonprofit Professionals Now, where I support organizations in growing their capacity by identifying and placing the right people in key positions. In this role, I work closely with nonprofits to ensure they have the talent and leadership needed to drive their missions forward and achieve meaningful impact.Additionally, I have returned to serve on the board of the People’s Nonprofit Accelerator. There, I contribute my expertise in nonprofit capacity building and strategic growth. My professional development has included earning several prestigious certifications, such as the AIRS Advanced Certified Internet Recruiter, AIRS Certified Internet Recruiter, AIRS Professional Recruiter Certification, Executive Leadership Certification from the People’s Nonprofit Accelerator, and a Nonprofit Fundraising Certificate from the same institution.I am often regarded as a connector, bringing people together to form meaningful relationships and partnerships that enable organizations and individuals to access critical resources for success. With a strong foundation in leadership and a dedication to community development, I remain committed to inspiring and leading in the nonprofit sector, making a lasting impact on the organizations and individuals I serve.
