Lead, coach and develop a 12 - person technical and manufacturing organization supporting injection molding operations. • Own OEE performance across all molding cells, implementing strategies to improve availability, performance, and quality. • Manage CAPEX programs including new injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, centralized material delivery systems, and line automation.• Partner with production, quality, and R&D to launch new products, ensuring validation (PPAP/ APQP/ IQ/ OQ/ PQ). • Collaborate with quality, production, and R&D teams in the launching of new products. • Provide technical injection molding expertise and guidance for validation and troubleshooting activities.• Provide technical input for plastic components and assemblies to improve mold, equipment, and/or part performance.• Develop successful business relationships and integrate project teams as needed.• Serve as a design and quality consultant to internal and external suppliers.• Keep customers and internal stakeholders informed and satisfied with changes through networking and communication.• Lead FAT (factory acceptance testing) at equipment manufacturers site and SAT (site acceptance testing) at Shoals onsite facility. • Own the OEE for all the molding cells at Shoals, implementing strategies to maximize availability, performance, and quality output. • Champion a Lean mindset throughout the department, driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase flow. • Ensure compliance with UL, OSHA regulations and ISO standards.
