ABOUT NAVID GOLCHIN
As a PhD candidate in mechanical engineering at UNC Charlotte, I work on cutting-edge projects in the fields of mechanical and civil engineering, researching autonomous transportation technologies and traffic networks. I have a master\'s degree in mechatronics engineering and a bachelor\'s degree in food machinery engineering from the University of Tehran. I have contributed to advancements in the Connected Autonomous Shuttle, CASSI, and the traffic model, METANET, applying machine learning techniques, statistical data analysis, and MATLAB skills. I have also published papers in and other conferences and won multiple awards and certifications for my work during my bachelor\'s and master\'s. I am passionate about solving complex engineering problems and enhancing the sustainability and efficiency of systems. I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as well as a strong work ethic, a collaborative spirit, and a thirst for learning.
