I spent years building and leading engineering organizations — scaling teams past 100 engineers, shipping enterprise SaaS across US and EU markets, and learning that the hardest problems aren\'t technical. They\'re about how fast a team can understand a system, change it safely, and ship with confidence.That insight pulled me back to the IC track. At Parloa, I architected the Conversational Platform that powers real-time voice AI — SIP, WebRTC, sub-2-second end-to-end latency across speech recognition, LLM processing, and synthesis. The kind of system where every millisecond of architecture debt is heard by the caller.Then I turned the lens inward. I built Claude\'s Kitchen — a self-validating AI development framework — and ai-sdlc, a multi-agent system that reviews, tests, and accelerates how engineers deliver software. One engineer went from 14-day delivery cycles to 5. That\'s not tooling. That\'s a different way of working.The thread through all of it: complex systems should be simple to change, and the people changing them should have unfair advantages. I used to do that by building teams. Now I do it by building the systems and tools that make those teams faster.Berlin-based.
