Over the past 20 years, I\'ve specialised in software engineering and applied machine learning at startups, turning research into scalable products that solve real-world problems.I have designed and developed multiple ML systems from concept to production, with customers depending on them for business-critical operations.At Secondmind, I built a platform for real-time active learning using Bayesian optimisation to help automotive manufacturers optimise vehicle design and calibration. This is now deployed in production by leading automotive manufacturers. At Causata, I developed a real-time personalisation platform that processes large amounts of behavioural data to optimise customer experiences. The platform uses reinforcement learning and other ML techniques, handling live traffic for major enterprises.All views are my own and not those of my employer.
