In 2001, while he was a Computer Science student at the University of Saskatchewan, Nezar Freeny founded Amanah Tech Inc. With seed funding from the Canada Youth Business Foundation for Young Entrepreneurs, Amanah Tech began as a one-man operation equipped with a single Cobalt Server that Nezar housed in a storage room. Working diligently to develop a clear mission and vision for his new venture, it was not long before Nezar realized that Amanah Tech was, and would continue to be, a success. In fact, the company exceeded Saskatchewan’s network within a matter of five years. To accommodate Amanah’s growing demand, Nezar relocated the company to Ontario in 2005, securing a prominent data center location at 151 Front Street West in the heart of downtown Toronto. Today, the company is a multimillion-dollar venture and a trusted provider of webhosting services with clients in over 40 countries worldwide.
