About Sharon Newman

My interests center on understanding the molecular world to ultimately advance access to healthcare and medicine. My expertise lies at the intersection of biophysical modeling, algorithm development, and multi-omic data pipelines—translating complex biological data into actionable insights. During my PhD at Stanford, I developed computational methods and high-throughput biological assays to improve sensitivity and multiplexing in the quantification of small molecules and proteins. Since then, I\'ve continued to blend my hands-on understanding of protein science with machine learning and data science to tackle challenges in diagnostics and therapeutics.I enjoy connecting dots across disciplines, building thoughtful systemic pipelines, and working closely with others to solve tough problems.
