ABOUT JÖRG TITTEL
Jörg is Founder and CEO of RapidEyeMovers.Jörg studied at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. He wrote for videogame mags Next Gen, Official Dreamcast (USA), Famitsu (Japan) and others, then was hired by Activision to help adapt Steven Spielberg\'s MINORITY REPORT into a videogame. He\'s been crafting stories across all forms of entertainment since. The Boston Globe called his China set graphic novel RICKY ROUSE HAS A GUN one of the 2014 Books of the Year.His first feature film, THE WHITE KING, a near-future drama starring Jonathan Pryce, Agyness Deyn amd Fiona Shaw which he co-directed and -wrote with Alex Helfrecht, had its world premiere at the 2016 Edinburgh International Film Festival where it was nominated for the Michael Powell Award for Best British Feature.He has directed and produced several acclaimed games including the star-studded THE LAST WORKER (the only game in competition at the 78th Venice International Film Festival), its Playdate spin-off SKEW (IGN’s 10 Best Games on Playdate) and the Golden Joystick nominated Digital Foundry VR Game of 2023 C-SMASH VRS, now also available on PS5.Jörg is a BAFTA member and frequent keynote speaker, e.g. at Reboot Develop Blue, Gamescom Congress, Meet & Build and beyond.
