About Tracy E. Cohen
My life\'s work has been to advocate for the disabled and neurodiverse population. I\'ve accomplished this through a career that has included public school teaching, professional development, owning an advocacy business, public speaking, writing and creating curriculum. In addition, I am proficient in mediating conflict between schools and families, teaching students about the benefits of a neurodiversity, and connecting students with disabilities to supportive organizations as well as analyzing documentation for the purposes of accommodations and providing consultation to University faculty, staff and administrators regarding best practices in the field of accessibility services.

LEA for Stevens High School, increased IEP compliance by 28% in six months, researched and created a new credited class for classified students to improve executive function and receive support for general education classes, complete budgeting for the Stevens High School special education department, team leader, assign students to case managers, interview and assign paraprofessionals, work with and educate students, parents, teachers and administration on all special education practices at Stevens High School.
