ABOUT NESTOR RAMOS

As a student of DePaul University’s MFA program in Creative Producing, I am eager to immerse myself in the Entertainment Industry. As a development intern at Highland Film Group, I’ve managed daily operations at the department front office desk, including answering phones, responding to emails, greeting visitors, conducting market research and industry tracking, and providing script coverage etc. I’m also a filmmaker with skills involving writing/directing/camera/editing/producing, etc. While at Live Nation as a Production Runner, I supported the office coordinators, tour managers, Talent, and production team for a smooth operational workflow. During my time at Encore Global, I assisted with audio-visual setups for presentations, award shows, and meetings in conference rooms. My experience working with Film Mode Entertainment at the American Film Market in Santa Monica, CA, as an assistant to the executive and administrative team has also provided me with real-world skills. Understanding the market, what was being sold and bought, and the advertising they had set up was beneficial. Additionally, I helped with scheduling and coordinating meetings and phone calls.
