Responsibilities:• Created a Safety Management Program according to the requirements of the Health & Safety Legislation, with the objective to identify hazards, assess hazard risks, and eliminate or reduce the risks by developing and reviewing the effectiveness of hazard controls.• Ensures, in accordance with the Corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company HSE Systems.• Demonstrating effective leadership on HSE related topics.• Promoting of HSE Culture at all levels of organization.• Strategic planning and governance of HSE program across the organization.• Becoming a focal point between the HSE Professionals and Top Management.• Coaching and mentoring the junior HSE personnel.• Interviewing with candidates for hiring process both Corporate and Projects.• Monitoring the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.• Reviews Accident/Incident reports prepared by the line managers and supervisors and reports results to Site Manager and other managers immediately. Ensures corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence of Accident/Incident.• Analyzes all Accident cases to determine the extent of violation of field safety standards, and develops preventive measures to avoid accident recurrence.
