ABOUT NESHIKA WIJEWARDHANE
Currently developing a wearable device for the early detection of breast cancer tumours. Funded by Cancer Research UK. My undergraduate and masters degrees were in cellular and molecular biology with a focus on cancer. I undertook a PhD in Digital Health at the University of Bristol funded by the EPSRC. My PhD research project brought together swarm robotics and cell biology to develop a light-based robotic device (Lumi-DOME) for wound healing treatments.
