About Nelson Hernandez
With over 10 years of experience in DevOps engineering, I am passionate about building scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions for various domains and industries. Currently, I am a Sr. DevOps Engineer at Lark Health, a leading digital health company that provides personalized and accessible care for chronic conditions. At Lark, I work with the engineering team to automate and optimize the backend architecture for the Lark app, which uses AI and behavioral science to coach millions of users. I leverage my skills in AWS, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and other tools to create robust and efficient infrastructure, monitoring, and alerting systems. I also hold a MEng in Product Architecture and Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and an Associate Cloud Engineer certification from Google. In my previous roles, I have led and contributed to several projects involving ground-up architecture, CI/CD, logging, metrics, and integrations for mobile and web applications.
