Hi, I’m Nelly, Strategic Transformation Consultant and Data, Architecture and Transformation Enthusiast from Bonn (Germany), and a global citizen. I am delighted that you are taking some minutes to get to know me I strongly believe that life is a continuous transformation, which is both a challenge and a chance. Making the first step of a transformation journey is not easy, but I think, that in today’s world, doing nothing is not an option. Only if you step out of your comfort zone, you can open the space of possibilities. I am convinced, that living in a complex world is the only reality we have; therefore, transformation goes beyond the idea of “complexity reduction” – it’s about empowering people and companies to face complexity (without blanking out dimensions of the “big picture”) and encouraging them to do the first step. Looking back at my personal trajectory, I’m thankful for all the transformation opportunities I got. Grown up in a former socialist country, I went to Berlin in 1990. After my M.A, I spent a few years with the work of a Swiss fiction writer I was addicted to at that time. He was an architect too, by the way. His meticulous investigation of a self who is searching for its unique identity by exploring different opportunities within a limited possibilities’ space was key motivation for my PhD. Enterprise and Data Architecture turned out to be my true passion since 2006, as a member of the IT architecture department of a global company. My expertise evolved and transformed during the last 18 years- As a Strategic Transformation Consultant I am supporting you from the first strategic idea to the final implementation and anchoring along all dimensions of the enterprise (organization, people, culture as well as processes, data and technology)- As a Data and Information enthusiast, my opinion is to support your digital journey to a data driven organization- As an Enterprise Architect I am facing the Big Picture without losing focus of the single “pains”. I am convinced that every enterprise has lots of trapped treasures in their data stores and would be happy to help you transforming them into a competitive advantage. And I’m curious how AI, ML and other technologies will disrupt the way we see the role of “machines” in our lives - from “human centered design” to “collective intelligence”.
