ABOUT NEKQUA YOUNG

As a Merchandise Assistant at Penney\'s, I apply my passion for beauty and problem-solving to manage vendor relations and item setups. I also ensure all digital channels are up-to-date and marketing has all assets needed to promote each item I manage. I have a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Marketing from the University of North Texas, where I learned the fundamentals of fashion business, digital retailing, and multi-media marketing. I have over eleven years of experience in the retail-clothing & beauty industry, working as a Visual Merchandiser with multiple luxury brands, a Lead Client Advisor at Valentino, and an Executive Administrative Assistant for Put It On A Shirt Etc. I have developed skills in retail management, CRM software, merchandising, invoicing, and production.
