ABOUT NEKA TORREIRO
Hi! My name is Neka. I am Brazilian and have been living in France since 2015. My career truly began when I won first prize at the Startup Weekend (Google prize for entrepreneurship) in 2018 as the creator of the AlgoSchool project, a fun educational game for children aged 6 to 10. With two Master\'s degrees, I have written more than 300 pages of scientific studies on learner engagement and motivation in online training. you really have to be passionate! As an e-learning Project Manager Apprentice at Air France Industries from 2019 to 2021, I was at the heart of a major revolution in regulatory training for aeronautical maintenance (QT 787, QT A220, QT A350, PART-145, PART-66.). It was in 2019, during a ground visit of a Boeing 787, that I fell in love with aviation and never wanted to leave the field. Since January 2022, I have been a full-time employee with the Air France KLM family as a Pedagogical Designer for cabin crew at Transavia. After a year and a half with the company, I advanced to Head of Pedagogical Design for flight personnel, managing the team of instructional designers for cabin crew and pilots. 🧩 At Transavia, I am involved in several cross-functional projects. Since I started with the company and for almost 2 years, I have represented the Flight Operations Directorate within TOLab, Transavia\'s innovation lab. And since April 2023, I have been the elected deputy representative for executives on the company\'s Social and Economic Committee (CSE). It is at Transavia that I discovered the behind-the-scenes world of the fascinating pilot profession, and in 2023 I began PPL training to become a private pilot alongside my work. To be continued
