I wear many hats in the newsroom, sometimes at the same time. As Video On Demand Producer, I\'m responsible for the editorial content for all Charter Spectrum (formerly TWC) On Demand channels. I identify stories, encode clips and write an intro and summary then propagate pieces to the channel. As Business Producer at the New York Stock Exchange, I coordinate hourly live hits from the floor of the exchange as well as write & update business stories, acquire video and compose graphics for the hits & coordinate feeds to NY1 & all TWC affiliates. I also develop, research, write & put together stories & talking points for the early morning kickers for “From the Floor” segments. As Control Room Producer I coordinate live hits with reporters in the field and gather all video, audio & graphics for news stories and updates; I also write the headlines (NY1 Minute) & build on-air rundowns. As Field Producer of many of our live events, such as \"Red Carpet to the Tonys,\" the annual Village Halloween Parade,\"Symphony Under The Stars\" in Central Park, Macy’s Balloon Inflation, New Year’s Eve in Times Square & NYC Fashion Week, I coordinate the live hits serving as liaison between the talent in the field & producers in the control room; I pre-interview the guests, prep them for the live shot & communicate guest information to the control room. As show producer for “In Transit” I work with the host to line up the week’s stories & build the graphics, write teases, book the guest & time out the show before going in the control to tape & program the show for air. A Segment Producer for the Weekend Features, I prepare the set for the guests & I write the ledes to the stories as well as coordinate graphics elements and pull up video before stepping into the Control Room to tape the segments, and if needed oversee the post-production of the segment. As Living Producer I oversaw the content of our Features & Entertainment Unit as well as shoot, write & edit packages, teases & ledes.
