ABOUT NEIL TEIXEIRA
Neil Teixeira is a dedicated education professional with over 20 years of experience developing and supporting innovative online programs at USC and an international K-12 e-learning platform with Google (Gooru). He currently oversees digital learning and online programs at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, where he guides USC Annenberg\'s online master\'s degrees, including the Master of Communication Management (MCM), the Master of Science in Digital Media Management (MSDMM), and the newly-launched Master of Science in Public Relations Innovation, Strategy and Management (MSPRISM). Additionally, he co-developed and oversees a skills-building certificate program for communication leaders entitled Managing Complexity in Diverse Organizations (MCDO). Previously, as a part of USC’s top-ranked Distance Education Network (DEN@Viterbi), he oversaw instructional support services for over 200 faculty members and remote students in 30+ online master’s programs.An alumnus of the USC School of Cinematic Arts and USC Dornsife College (B.A.\'04), as well as the USC Annenberg School (M.A.\'08), he is currently completing his doctoral dissertation at the USC Rossier School of Education where he is researching instructional practices that help reduce math- and statistics-related anxiety in online learners.
