ABOUT NEIL SCHEMBRI

I qualified from the University of Malta in 2009, beginning my career at Mater Dei Dental Hospital. In 2010, I moved to the UK, where I pursued and completed a Master of Science degree in Dental Implantology at the University of Bristol, graduating with Distinction in 2014.Over the next 11 years, I worked in a start-up dental practice in South Bristol, gaining extensive experience, particularly with anxious patients and those requiring complex treatments. I also spent 10 years as a Clinical Support Manager with {my}dentist, providing clinical support to dentists across Bristol and the Borders.In 2019, I obtained a Civil Expert Witness certificate from Cardiff University and have since served as a part-time independent Clinical Advisor with the NHS. I supervised and mentored dentists for 9 years, a role that I found deeply rewarding.In 2021, I completed a post-graduate certificate in Teaching and Learning for Healthcare Professionals at the University of Bristol and am now a Member of the Academy of Medical Educators. I gained experience working as a Clinical Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Bristol.Currently, I work at The Smile Suite in Clifton and mydentist Bradley Stoke in Bristol, offering general dentistry and clear aligners. I am undertaking a two-year post-graduate diploma in aligner orthodontics to expand my expertise and treat a wider array of complex cases. This will enable me to offer more advanced treatment options to patients and provide the highest standard of care.I am committed to ensuring that my patients receive the best possible treatment experience and outcomes.
