The project went live on time and in full.•With pressure from retailer margins, competitors and commodity costs, a new strategy was required. In 6 months, I delivered a financial plan which identified clear category and investment choices•A financial controller was needed for an imminent year end and off-shoring project. I assessed the situation, the team strengths and supplied the required structure & people management. The year end was described as the smoothest experienced. The transformation was delivered on time and with new service review methods•Finance processes were complex and costly.
