ABOUT NEIL PLUMRIDGE
Started out as a Biomedical Scientist (Biochemistry) working in the NHS, then moved to join Olympus Diagnostic Systems, initially as a Product Specialist for Clinical Chemistry systems. I became a Systems Specialist and was involved with the installation and commissioning of the initial OLA2500 laboratory automation systems in the UK and Ireland. I was then promoted to Assistant Technical Manger and then Information and Logisitcs Manager responsible for the control and distribution of technical information, project planning, and installation planning and logisitcs, and involvement in various company projects. My current role is to provide all aspects of customer support, with direct interaction with sales and marketing, r&d and production. Quotient is an ISO13485 certified manufacturing site. Customer support are actively involved in new product registrations in an expanding number of new territories across the world.I hope to continue in the diagnostics or related scientific industry, progressing to senior managment positions.
