About Neil Owen

As a founding principal and the chief operating officer, Neil is responsible for executing n-tara’s strategic plan, as well as leading development efforts around the company’s award winning Services Business Unit. Neil leveraged his 20 years of professional experience with technology, high-end visualization, industrial design and higher education to help build n-tara into an internationally recognized leader in rich internet content and application development. Prior to the origin of n-tara, Neil held multiple instructional and curriculum development posts in higher education including assignments at Purdue University and East Tennessee State University, where he directed and co-founded the Advanced Visualization Laboratory. Earlier in his career, Neil launched several advanced technology initiatives resulting in significantly reduced cost and dramatically improved quality. In 1989 he received GE’s “Managerial Design Award” for one of these initiatives.
