Working within the Electrical Engineering group to provide engineering services in support of the legacy Sampson MFR and Artisan (Type 997) naval radar systems as installed on the Royal Navy\'s Type 45 destroyers, Type 23 frigates and the QEC-class aircraft carriers.Key areas of expertise include: component obsolescence management; equipment modification design, trial and implementation; engineering documentation / drawing authoring, change processes and reviewing; mid-life upgrades to hardware at subsystem, LRU and component level; technical support to factory during equipment manufacturing and test phases; resolution of supply chain issues (part identification and sourcing, procurement specification / drawing updates, etc.); management of operational issues / observations raised by fleet FSEs (Field Service Engineers) and system End Users.
