For many years I have been banging on about \'contacting the customer where and when they want\'- now add to that recognising that we need to take the opportunity provided by the present adversity regarding where we work from and not just \'wait until it gets back to normal\'. Besides understanding where, when and how your customers want to be contacted, apply the same logic to your staff! Understand that Remote Working and Distributed Teams is not just for COVID-19! I am recognised for my ability to work throughout a business, from CEO to Front Office, overcoming initial resistance to change, gaining acceptance, up-skilling and empowering people to cope and prosper in their ‘new world’ including practical & theoretical expertise in Remote Working. Throughout my life, I have undertaken a variety of roles.teaching sport to selling financial services.but always returned to roles where I focus on helping others whether they be large businesses or single individuals to become more effective and efficient in THEIR role. A challenge provided by COVID-19 is the requirement for businesses to \'work from home\' whereever possible. Whilst this may enable individuals and businesses to operate more efficiently it is questionable whether they are operating more effectively! Tiring commutes replaced by back to back Zoom or Teams meetings with little time to prepare, participate fully and then reflect on one meeting before the next one starts.I\'ve spent over 30 years working with a variety of businesses across the globe from multinational financial services conglomerates based in Asia Pacific to health providers in the UK, to local banks in the BRIC economies to telecoms and FMCG companies in Europe - in-country and remotely. Financial Literacy & Education.is for all.from school children, those new to the world of work, through University students, people looking to get on the property ladder and so on.If I can do all that I show in my CV in the countries I have operated in…then I can surely work successfully in the UK!
