About Neil Chestnutt
Neil Chestnutt began his career on NETFLIX and HBO series before joining veteran producer Grant Hill\'s Elizabeth Bay Productions as a producer\'s assistant and later HEAD OF FILM & TELEVISION DEVELOPMENT. Hill is best known for producing TITANIC, THE TREE OF LIFE, and THE MATRIX sequels. During his tenure at Elizabeth Bay, Chestnutt worked across a broad slate with WARNER BROS, NETFLIX, AMAZON, AMBLIN, VILLAGE ROADSHOW, and FOX SEARCHLIGHT, spanning independently financed CANNES FILM FESTIVAL winners to $200 million studio films. He was promoted to PRODUCER, where he independently developed a major project with the teams behind NARCOS and ELITE SQUAD.Most recently, Chestnutt directed, wrote, and produced AGNES WAKES UP, a short horror film using a low-light variant of the camera technology from THE MATRIX RESURRECTIONS. The film became an audience favorite on the festival circuit and was a 2025 nominee for the PALME D\'GORE at MIDSUMMER SCREAM, the largest horror and Halloween festival in the world. He is currently in discussions with studios.
