About Neil Wetzel
As a saxophonist and reed player, I have over 40 years experience as a performer and educator. My playing resume includes international jazz tours, recordings, theater work, the Philly Pops Orchestra, and various big bands. Recordings include two releases as leader recording my own compositions, a CD released in Europe with the Skip Wilkins Rostislav Fras Quintet, a CD backing Patti Page that was recorded live in Carnegie Hall NYC that won the 1998 Best Traditional Pop Vocal Performance for \"Live At Carnegie Hall — The 50th Anniversary Concert.\" I also played on the CD \"Simone on Simone\" with the Rob Stoneback Big Band. Currently I am Director of Jazz Studies at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA.
