As Senior Manager, I provide technical leadership and strategic oversight for the maintenance and performance of SkyTrain’s electrical infrastructure. This includes high-voltage traction power systems, SCADA, PLCs, station electrical systems, and fire/life safety equipment. I lead the development and execution of asset management plans, preventative and predictive maintenance programs, and reliability engineering initiatives to support 24/7 operations.Reporting to the VP of Maintenance & Engineering, I manage a team of over 123 technical personnel to ensure regulatory compliance, system safety, and operational resilience through effective planning, root cause analysis, and lifecycle optimization. I also support the delivery of capital renewal projects (via our Asset Integration Office) integrate new technologies, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.
