Gold and Diamonds are my first language! Born into a lineage of skilled goldsmiths, my family\'s legacy lies in gold refining, notably as pioneers since 1956 with National Refinery Pvt Ltd. My journey into the captivating realm of gemstones ignited during the early when I underwent training on sorting diamonds and grading at Mahendra Brothers followed by joining SHRENUJ & Co, a prominent diamond manufacturing company where I got sales training. I moved to Hong Kong in 2007, I dedicated five years to crafting an expansive distribution network spanning South East Asia and China. This immersive experience was enriched by another two years in Shanghai, affording me profound insights into Mainland China\'s intricate business culture and mindset. Throughout this period, I fostered robust relationships with prominent jewellery retail chains, fuelling growth and capitalizing on numerous opportunities. My relocation to Shanghai in 2013 marked a pivotal phase of cultural immersion and learning, emphasizing the unique approach to business in China. This landscape is defined by its cultural nuances, traditions, and the essence of time and trust in negotiations. In 2016, I assumed a consulting role with De Beers Group, the world\'s largest diamond mining company, championing their diamond grading system\'s reach across South East Asia. My dynamic involvement with NGTC facilitated De Beers\' course integration, while also harmonizing complex grading standards. I am a relentless optimist and a passionate traveller, I channel my energies into the empowerment of women and girls, alongside advising industry leaders like De Beers Group on business development. Beyond the boardroom, I embrace a love for music, gourmet cuisine, and exploration. My journey embodies dedication, optimism, and an innate connection to the ever-evolving gem and jewellery landscape. The future holds endless possibilities, underscored by the fusion of tradition and innovation, and the values of perseverance and insight.
