Leading a Product team, as Head of Product, I manage the payroll portfolio and am accountable for making decisions on the overall payroll strategy through the following- Defining Product roadmaps and execution by leading a talented team to make clear priority decisions and recommendations - Owning and leading the definition and writing of detailed product requirements, taking into account constraints and protecting the out of the box product from customisations, while leading and maintaining a well defined backlog- Understanding the impact of tech debt and ensuring a cost conscious focus; use both to influence Product Strategy and development, working in partnership with engineering and testing teams to drive forward a superb product - Acting as an advisor to the Leadership Team on strategic direction of the team and for overall portfolio of products required to deliver the People Transformation programme - Handle conflicting priorities really well, communicate clearly and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong and talented team
