About Neil Shah
Hi, I\'m Neil. I\'m an aspiring journalist, eager to serve as a middle man between the tech world and everyone else. I\'m currently based in SF, working full time as a software engineer at an AI startup called Brighterway. I spend my spare time helping organize a book club for tech workers, opening a dialogue to combat apoliticism and understand the obligation that comes with our centrality in the SF economy. I\'ve started by writing about my own life experience, with hopes of packaging the lessons I\'ve learned in a digestible, generalizable way - at least I try to, writing is hard. I\'ve written one article so far. It\'s about why I quit finance, and I like to think that it sparked a campus wide conversation about the problems that come with pre-professional spaces at Yale.
