ABOUT NEIL SEIFERT
I am a specialist in structural geology (Msc) with 7 years of industry experience and a unique background in geotechnical engineering as well as ore deposit geology. I am focused on structural analysis of ore deposits and structural characterization of the rock mass for geotechnical engineering applications. I am a Canadian Austrian dual citizen and have experience in mining, exploration, and large civil engineering projects that span North and South America, Europe, and Asia. I am specialized in field based structural analysis and 3D geologic modeling of complexly deformed geologic terranes. Having grown up in Austria, moving to Canada in my teenage years, and studying in the US has given me a diverse background, which has allowed me to quickly adapt to new environments and challenges. I am currently working with Teck Resources focused on advancing the structural geology knowledge of projects worldwide.
