About Neil Paterson
As one of OBMI’s key Architecture and Design Leaders in both the Urban Lifestyle and Destination Creation Studios, Neil brings a wealth of international experience and knowledge in all phases and sectors of architectural design. His widespread portfolio ranges from high-end residential and hospitality projects to marina villages and urban mixed-use projects. He is a refined designer with ample experience in large multi-team project management and technical coordination, with continual focus on strong personal client service.Originally from Scotland, Neil has extensive experience working in the UK, as well as in the Caribbean where he lived for over 6 years; in addition he has been lead designer for some of OBMI’s most notable projects in the Middle East, such as The Wave in Muscat Oman and Bab al Madina in Tripoli Libya. During Neil’s 16 years with OBMI his true design talent and deep understanding of technical and construction aspects of a project, along with his unwavering focus on quality control ensure excellence in client service and project delivery has been essential to our success. Neil gained his architectural qualications from the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1989 and has been a registered architect in the United Kingdom since 1990.
