I am a biochemist and chemical engineer with 20+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. I have successfully developed processes that produce both small molecule and large molecule therapies. My current work involves leading the development of cell culture processes at Elanco Animal Health. The primary responsibilities of my role are to lead the upstream (cell culture) scientific team, drive the next generation of process strategies, characterize and control product quality, and develop the robust upstream processes needed to advance Elanco’s early and late phase biomolecules portfolio. I also serve as the lead scientist on various product development teams within R&D and Manufacturing at Elanco.
