Implementation of EHS Management Programs for Huntsman Building Solutions Arlington TX site· Continually improve EHS performance through corrective and preventive actions identified through incident review.· Maintain plant EHS regulatory/training calendar current and identify and close any regulatory compliance gaps discovered.· Liaise with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies and/or inspectors (OSHA, EPA, DOT, TCEQ etc.).· Maintain compliance with Huntsman EHS Management systems· Coordinate and plan permit regulatory requirements wherever possible.· Monitor and evaluate permit compliance by completing routine permit audits and required sampling, analysis, and reporting.· Complete plant EPA reporting with guidance and assistance from the Plant Manager.· Foster a culture of employee ownership for and engagement in EHS, maintaining the safety index data and ensuring proper communication throughout the facility.· Develop Safety training lesson plans and deliver training, including New Hire Orientation, as well as other safety critical programs.· Conduct facility EHS inspections focusing on behaviors as well as conditions· Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify EHS issues during the work- day· Coach employees in the workplace on adherence to policy, procedures, and safe work practices· Lead by example to the workforce by personally following all safety regulations, policies, procedures, and practices· Intervene in unsafe activities and operations and provide coaching as needed.Aid in incident investigations, including providing investigation training to supervisors and ongoing guidance as needed.· Coordinate and conduct emergency drills to gauge facility emergency readiness.· Liaise with external emergency services (local fire department, local emergency planning commission, etc.), local companies, and the community · Coordinate any activities related to environmental corrective actions as may be necessary for the site.
