As a 4th-year Physics major at the University of British Columbia, I’m deeply engaged in both theoretical and practical aspects of physics and astronomy. My journey in physics has been hands-on and interdisciplinary, ranging from safety coordination in high-risk environments to research work in radio astronomy. I’m passionate about unraveling complex problems, whether through computational simulations, experimental setups, or analytical studies. Through roles as a teaching assistant, safety supervisor, and research volunteer, I’ve developed a strong foundation in project management and technical skills—be it programming in Python, MATLAB, or handling safety compliance for COR certification. My recent work on Magneto-Optical Traps (MOTs) and my research in particle physics continue to inspire me to push boundaries and explore new scientific inquiries. I’m actively seeking opportunities that bridge my physics background with applied research and industry applications.
