Ownership of a portfolio of work, to deliver sourcing events to time and to deliver maximum value to the business in relation to this portfolioAppoint suppliers following an agreed sourcing methodology suitable for the value or complexity of the spend and/or requirement. Lead on commercial negotiations and complete e-auctions. Ensure relevant systems are used and updated to ensure an auditable process and efficient reporting to the business. Provide advice and support to the business to understand and deliver their requirements. Monitor spend trends which may need further investigation. Ensure sustainable procurement risks are understood and managed for all projects Negotiate with suppliers on a “spot buy” basis where appropriate. Comply with EU Procurement Regulations, internal policies and procedures during all projects. Ensure my programme of work supports the Purchase to Pay process through effective procurementWork with the team to identify opportunities / benefits through improved working practices with supply chain partners. Work within the team to drive supplier development to optimise the total cost of ownership. Collaboratively set measurable and realistic metrics that will measure the performance / value delivered for the agreements in the portfolio Work with framework / contract managers and provide support as necessary to ensure the necessary performance standards are met for the agreements in the portfolio ownedProactively engage with business stakeholders to offer support and guidance on supply chain issues and promote the benefits of an efficient buying (including process and system guidance) When requested support with the collation of supplier performance data, and help with the resolution of supplier performance issues. Work closely with stakeholders and key business units to build relationships to enable more efficient working and delivery of sourcing activities.
