I support various clients methodically track and analyze their biggest expense; Payroll. With disparate systems, payroll involves many manual and time-consuming tasks that are streamlined through small and incremental process improvements as well as through larger and collaborative projects. I design and develop formula-driven Excel worksheets to ensure each payroll cycle is reconciled to the payroll system preview registers, while also helping to serve as documentation for internal and external audits.I customize reports to effectively and accurately report payroll-related expenses, i.e. GL entries, as well as developing reports to reconcile year-end tax form W2\'s.I often partner with HR, Accounting, and third-party service providers to understand and address pain points, and implement efficient and scalable processes driven by business needs. I develop presentations to help train new hires with payroll processes as well as develop effective communication reminders to hourly non-exempt employees & managers for timely timesheet submissions and approvals.
