The BlackFriars pub has risen from the ashes, and lovingly restored bigger and better than ever before. With capacity for over 250 revellers, we’re on a pilgrimage to bring together friends, loved ones and strangers alike to break bread and share a drink.Built in 1886, The Black Friar was resurrected in 2021 after lying derelict for over 15 years. Lovingly restored, the Pub is a true harmony of old and new. We like to think it’s somewhere everyone feels at home. Our unique pub has something for all tastes and fancies. Tuck into honest grub in the Pub, or dine á la carte in the grand Glass Room. PDR for meetings and private get togethers as well as weddings for up to 250.
