My team and I manage the fire safety compliance work stream, in accordance with statutory and regulatory obligations including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. I manage internal and external fire contracts, assisting and deputising for management as required.The performance of post-inspections and quality assurance of completed works and surveys by internal and external partners is an important feature of my role. I ensure that our properties are in adherence with relevant building safety and fire related legislation such as the RRO 2005, Fire Safety Regulation 2022 and the Building Safety Act 2022. Additionally I oversee direct contract management of internal and external colleagues, conducting health and safety inspections on-site to ensure adherence to CDM 2015 criteria. I create and implement procurement documentation when contracts are due to be tendered and play an active part in the moderation and selection process of the relevant tender exercise. I verify compliance certification and complete and update relevant ICT systems. I am fully proficient using the Microsoft suite of software and a host of other in house systems including Orchard, NEC, MRI, POP and Risk Hub.The collection of accurate data is of the utmost importance in my current role. I am proficient in analysing, manipulating, comparing, and presenting data relating to fire safety compliance statistics, reporting directly to senior management and board level.
