I am a seasoned leader and innovator in the renewable energy industry, with over 22 years of experience in biofuels and bioproducts. As the Vice President of Strategic Development at POET, the world\'s largest producer of biofuels and bioproducts, I lead a team of talented professionals who scout and implement new technologies, seek opportunities for new sources of revenue, and collaborate with potential partners to co-develop additional value.My passion is to find and execute innovative solutions that can reduce carbon emissions and create value for society. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University, and I have developed skills and expertise in alternative energy, process engineering, cellulosic ethanol, business development, operational support, technology scouting, and carbon reduction. My mission is to discover, develop, and commercialize new value propositions that fit within our business objectives and align with our POET vision of being good stewards of the Earth.
