I\'m an experienced Software Engineer and Software Development Manager. This means my professional roles have ranged from late night brick wall headbutting enthusiast to emotional support animal.My development experience has been mostly Java and Back End focused, but I have never met a challenge that I considered outside of what I can do technically. I have over 20 years of software development experience, and while I haven\'t stopped writing code my contributions to a team are increasingly focused on helping those around me accomplish more. Sometimes I do this by being a forward thinking architect, creating a solution design that will make the development lifecycle smoother. Sometimes I do this by creating or supporting training or engagement activities, and ordering lunch. Sometimes I\'m a cheerleader, a rubber duck, or a coach.Based out of Montreal, Canada I also enjoy martial arts and love reading books on a broad range of topics from Technology to Biology to all flavors of Fiction. I\'m a lifelong fan of role playing games, though nowadays I\'m mostly a Dungeon Master for my kids.
