   At the Hewlett Foundation, I provide strategic communications counsel across a range of issues and initiatives, working especially closely with the foundation’s Education and U.S. Democracy programs on conceptualizing and implementing external communications, advising on grants related to strategic communications, and developing collaborative, field-supporting communications capacities. I co-created and led the foundation\'s media and communications grantmaking portfolio, totaling $18 million in 2023. I also contribute to foundation-wide initiatives, such as taskforces on diversity, equity, and inclusion, organizational trainings and peer learning opportunities.
