About Neha Deshpande
I have a PhD in Biochemistry and 13 years of combined experience comprehensively focused on molecular biology, genomics and gene expression analysis.My experience focuses on nucleic acid (DNA and RNA) extractions from various sources, followed by amplification and ultimately sequencing. I am trained in both library preparation and data analysis for DNA and bulk RNA sequencing, including relevant bioinformatic and statistical analyses. I have extensive experience with quantitative real time PCR and am also trained in utilizing digital droplet PCR. I am also well versed in SNP screening and genotyping in human patient DNA samples.In my current role, I am focused on identifying genetic determinants impacting drug metabolism, drug-drug interactions, and drug induced toxicity in patients with hematological malignancies undergoing stem cell transplantation.
