Scrum Master Role at Staples Canada Project (Galaxy Weblinks)I am currently performing a challenging role as a Scrum Master for the Staples Canada project while working with Galaxy Weblinks. In this role, I utilize my skills to foster the growth of organic, self-organized agile teams. My primary focus is on creating a trusting and safe environment, removing obstacles, and ensuring teams deliver value through simple and adaptable Agile & Scrum frameworks.Key Responsibilities:Team Management:1. Managing 4 PODs, each with a capacity of 8 -10team members.Scrum Master Duties:1.Overseeing all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.2.Facilitating pre-deployment meetings, Go/No-Go decisions, and other key meetings before deployments.Agile Transformation:1. Collaborating with management to guide non-agile teams in transitioning to agile practices.Implementing the Agile Maturity Model to assess the agility status of different projects.Product Backlog Management:2. Working closely with Product Owners to prioritize and refine the backlog.Reporting and Documentation:1. Maintaining PMO reports on Confluence for leadership review.2.Assisting management in creating documents to define Scrum processes across teams.Training and Development:1.Providing training and guidance on the Scrum Framework to project teams.2. Conducting training sessions as needed to enhance team knowledge of agile practices.Performance Monitoring:1. Leveraging capacity planning, effort estimation, sprint, and velocity reports to assess and enhance team performance.2.Maintaining dashboards and worklogs for all teams.Client and Stakeholder Interaction:1.Interacting with clients to facilitate Scrum events and gather feedback for continuous improvement.Ensuring team compliance with the Scrum framework and addressing blockers for smooth operations.Tool Management:1. Using and managing Jira dashboards for creating backlogs and sprints with the Scrum team.2.Ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of team dashboards on Jira and reports on confluence.Through these responsibilities, I am committed to driving continuous improvement, fostering collaboration, and delivering value in every sprint.
