About Neha Madhiwalla
15+ years of experience in health research (health systems, public health, social science and operations research), digital health, strategic planning and design. Have worked in various independent research organisations and for various international research projects. I also have considerable PG teaching experience. For the past 12 years, I have considerable experience in studying, designing and implementing mHealth programmes in the domain of maternal and child health as a consultant and later as a director at ARMMAN. All tech programmes need to be located in a context, adapted and evolved with sensitivity and skill to achieve not merely more effectiveness, but also greater equity and real-world impact. As a social scientist and public health researcher, I bring unique insights to multi-disciplinary collaborations which are vital for developing a new programme for health. I have collaborated extensively with tech teams within and outside ARMMAN and played a pivotal role in the development of many successful mhealth and AI initiatives.
