I think the best way to understand a problem is to build something that breaks trying to solve it.I\'m a Data Science grad student at IIT Chicago (\'26) who somehow ended up doing production ML work before finishing my degree; shipping LLM pipelines, real-time data systems, and computer vision models on data that doesn\'t behave the way textbooks promise.I\'ve worked across healthcare, environmental systems, and enterprise intelligence: not because I planned it that way, but because interesting problems don\'t stay in one industry. Along the way, I picked up 3 published papers and a strong opinion that clean data is a myth someone made up to sell courses.I\'m at my best when the problem is ambiguous, the data is ugly and the solution has to actually work in production, not just in a notebook.
